Maurizio Sarri is reportedly due to land in London in the next 24-hours in order to complete his proposed move to Chelsea.
Sarri has been linked with Chelsea for several weeks now, with the deal thought to be close to be going through at several stages.
We’re heading towards the end of June now, though, and yet there has been no official confirmation of his appointment, nor Antonio Conte’s departure.
The endgame could finally be approaching. According to the Mirror, Sarri will land in London in the next 24-hours to complete the switch.
The report claims that Sarri will pen a two-year deal with Chelsea, with an option for a further one-year extension depending on his side’s performances.
