Chelsea to complete deal for Brazilian star in coming days
Chelsea are set to secure their first signing in the ongoing January transfer window.
This comes as the recent reports revealed the Blues are ‘working on a deal’ to sign Brazilian teenager, Estevao Willian.
According to a recent statement by popular transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Willian is high on Chelsea’s shortlist and the Blues have been making moves to sign him for the last few months.
However, the Premier League club will face stiff competition from Barcelona for the player’s signature.
To sign Willian, the Blues will have to be ready to pay his release clause worth €60 million, £51.5m.
The 16-year-old, who has been on Chelsea’s radar since October has been tipped to emerge as the next Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, already earning him the nickname ‘Messinho’
