Chelsea Told Exactly How Much They’ll Have To Pay Bayern For Long-term Target

Chelsea have been told exactly what they need to pay in order to sign Arturo Vidal from Bayern Munich this summer.

It’s unclear how genuine our interest in Vidal is. The Chilean has been linked with us every summer for the past few years, but has never been close to becoming a Chelsea player.

When Antonio Conte was in charge at Stamford Bridge, Vidal was an obvious target. The pair had a great relationship during their time together at Juventus.

We somewhat doubt whether Maurizio Sarri would be interested in signing him, though. He’s heading over the hill, Sarri is looking to build something here.

Either way, it wouldn’t cost us a lot if we did want to take a punt on the Bayern midfield general this summer.

According to Calciomercato, Bayern will allow Vidal to leave for £26.6M, which is a lot cheaper than previous valuations.

Only time will tell if we’re prepared to pay that.
