Chelsea transfer news: Four stars could make Stamford Bridge switch in coming days

CHELSEA are set to have a frantic transfer deadline day with deals for FOUR players on standby.

The Blues have had a slow transfer window up until this point, with just two signings coming in.

And with just one outfield player in Jorginho, fans were starting to get restless.

There have been attempts to sign the likes of Gonzalo Higuain, Daniele Rugani and Aleksandr Golovin but all of these failed to materialise.

Rob Green is the other man to arrive at Stamford Bridge but with Thibaut Courtois looking likely to go, there will have to be another goalkeeper signing.

The Belgian star has gone AWOL as he looks to force a move to Real Madrid.

But the Chelsea board have always been reluctant to sell their best players.

Nevertheless, a transfer still looks on the cards – but the Blues have bit back.

On their radar is Real midfielder Mateo Kovacic, who has also gone AWOL.

The Croatian looks set to join Chelsea on a season-long loan with an option to buy.

And he is will not be the only arrival on what looks to be a frantic couple of days.

Chelsea are ready to break the world-record fee for a goalkeeper by splashing out £71m on Kepa Arrizabalaga.

But there is more, there are reports that Nabil Fekir and Anthony Martial will also join.

Strong reports in France have revealed that Fekir, who was close to joining Liverpool at one stage, is having a medical.
