Chelsea face Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in just under an hour, and the teams are in!
It’s Marc Cucurella in at left back with Thiago Silva and Levi Colwill in the middle and Malo Gusto at right back. The injury to Ben Chilwell may be the decisive factor in Colwill’s gradual return to central defence, and might actually mean a chance for Ian Maatsen long term if Cucurella doesn’t perform.
Conor Gallagher, Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez make up the central midfield trio, meaning that Pochettino trusts both of the players who were in South American on international duty 72 hours ago to start.
Up front it’s an interesting selection – this looks like Mykhailo Mudryk and Raheem Sterling supporting Cole Palmer as a false 9 – although all 3 could potentially play in any combination. We will just have to see how it works out on the pitch.
