“Confident hitting the ground at Chelsea” – Incoming Chelsea signing reveals ahead of his arrival at Stamford Bridge

Kendry Paez, a wonder youngster headed to Chelsea, is sure he can come at Stamford Bridge prepared to make an impression.

Paez from Independiente del Valle agreed to join Chelsea for almost £17 million last summer, but he won’t be able to play with his new teammates until 2025, when he would turn eighteen.

The seventeen-year-old, who is already a full Ecuadorian international, is the subject of much enthusiasm, but whenever he joins the Premier League, expectations will need to be controlled.

Paez ready to make an impact at Chelsea

Paez doesn’t seemed phased by his impending move to Chelsea, and it appears the youngster doesn’t seem to feel pressure.

He recently scored a brilliant goal in Independiente del Valle’s 1-0 win against Deportivo Cuenca, and to be playing regularly for his club and appearing for his country at his age shows he is quite some talent.

Of course there is still plenty of time before Paez joins up with the Blues, but it seems he has already started the preparations for his move, and he has explained why he feels confident he can arrive at Chelsea and make an impact.

“I’m trying to play the starting games, score goals, be a protagonist and give assists”, he said in quotes picked up by Ecuavisa.

“I believe that the day to day training, the Pro League matches, the Libertadores matches, are going to take me to Chelsea in the best way.”

Paez might not be the only South American youngster making his way to west London, it’s been reported Chelsea are in talks to sign 17-year-old Estevao Willian from Palmieras.
