Cristiano Ronaldo cried as Chelsea player stops him from progressing to the Champions League quarter-finals
New Blues signing Malang Sarr joined Chelsea from French club Nice last summer and was immediately loaned out to Porto in Portugal for the season to get some game-time ahead of a return to Stamford Bridge.
However, The Chelsea loanee Malang Sarr was part of the Porto team that stopped Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus from progressing to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Sarr was a 62nd minute replacement for Otavio after Mehdi Taremi was sent off for the away side and he turned in a fine performance.
He was pivotal in shutting down countless Juventus attacks and this included a few one-on-one clashes with Ronaldo.
Aside from one careless giveaway moments after coming on, the Frenchman didn’t put a foot wrong in the match.
