‘Crying and sad’ – Thiago Silva reacted to latest Chelsea transfer deal
Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has reacted to reports that Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has agreed personal terms with Manchester United.
Mount has just a year left on his contract with Chelsea and has failed to agree a new deal with the club.
Chelsea is reportedly open to selling the 24 year old England international this summer to avoid losing him as a free agent next year.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle United all are interested in signing Mount but Manchester United is leading the race for the midfielder.
Manchester United is yet to agree a transfer fee with Chelsea but it’s likely expected that Mount’s futures lies away from Stamford Bridge.
The prospect of Mount leaving has not gone down well with Thiago Silva, who reacted to the news of his Chelsea teammate’s agreement with United with two tearful-face emojis on Instagram.
