Did Hazard make the right decision to leave Chelsea?
On Saturday night, Eden Hazard hobbled off the pitch in the second half of Real Madrid’s unexpected 1-0 defeat against Levante.
Now, Los Blancos’ official website confirms that the former Blue has suffered an ankle fracture. According to Spanish newspaper AS, Hazard might be ruled out for the next two months.
This is yet another setback for the former Stamford Bridge hero who left Chelsea for the Spanish giants last summer.
The Belgian has spent almost 3 months on the sidelines with a similar injury and has so far played only 10 games in La Liga, scoring once.
Hazard will miss a crucial run of games:
next week, Real Madrid will face Man City in the Champions League and Barcelona in the domestic league.
Some Chelsea fans have already expressed their sympathy towards their former star on social media.
