Enzo Fernandez reveals why Chelsea can’t stop passing to thier £50m valuable teammate in every match

Enzo Fernandez has shared how much he values the quality of Chelsea teammate Raheem Sterling.

The Blues squad is stacked with so many talented individuals despite the fact that they’re underachieving on the pitch this season. This includes World Cup-winning midfielder Enzo Fernandez.

Similarly, Raheem Sterling is another top Chelsea player with a fantastic CV on both the domestic and international scene.

The £50million winger (Daily Mail) is relied upon as a really important figure in the current squad at Stamford Bridge, scoring six goals and making four assists so far this campaign.

Speaking via the Premier League’s official YouTube channel, Fernandez showered Chelsea teammate Sterling with big praise.

In particular, the Blues midfielder shared that the team always tries to get the ball to the Blues attacker quickly so he can dribble at opposition players.

Fernandez said: “Sterling is very tricky… Yeah he’s really fast. It’s true that he’s very good in one-on-one situations. We always try to get the ball to him cleanly so he can isolate himself 1v1 which is what he’s best at.”

Raheem Sterling pace

There’s no doubt in our mind that Sterling’s one of the fastest players in the Premier League division, especially when it comes to dribbling at full speed with the ball.

Speaking via The Daily Mail last month, Graeme Souness hailed Sterling as a player that opponents are “terrified” of coming up against.

We’ve seen in patches some sensational form from Sterling this season where he looks at his sharpest. Admittedly, there’s been a small drop off recently in his levels.

If the English speedster wants to be a nailed-on starter moving forward, we suggest he quickly regains his best form again. That is because the competition in the Blues forward line is heating up with Christopher Nkunku now back in the squad vying for one of the attacking positions. Also, there’s the likes of Mykhailo Mudryk, Nicolas Jackson, Armando Broja and Cole Palmer.
