EPL: Tuchel sends warning message to Jurgen Klopp after 1-0 win over Palace
Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday ensured the Blues remain seven points behind Liverpool in the Premier League.
However, The Blue boss has warned Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp that it’s not impossible for the Blues to catch Liverpool who sit second in the Premier League table.
Given the gap with Manchester City, the Premier League title is already an unrealistic target at the moment, but Tuchel believes Chelsea can finish in second place.
Thomas Tuchel said: “Unfortunately we don’t play them [Liverpool] again [in the league],”
“They look very strong at the moment. It is what it is, and they got a huge player in the winter to make their squad even stronger.
“We will not give in.
“I will not tell you today that it is impossible to catch them, but there’s no other way than to improve our game, to improve our style, and to win game after game after game, to start winning in consecutive games.
“There’s no need to look to Liverpool or Man City or look behind, we have enough to deal with, we have enough to improve and that’s where we start from.”
