Chelsea have been linked with attacking midfielder Dani Olmo, and the 21-year-old has been very impressive for Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb.
The 21-year-old is a product of the famed La Masia academy in Catalunya and he is seen as a huge prospect with great qualities.
Reports claim that Barcelona have now emerged as the frontrunners to sign the Spain international.
Olmo can play as either a winger or attacking midfielder, and Goal claim that Barca feel confident in getting the deal over the line for around £25.6m, although Dinamo are holding firm with an asking price of £34.1m.
Meanwhile, the young Spain international has made it clear that he wishes to leave Dinamo Zagreb in January as he aims to earn a place in La Roja’s Euro 2020 squad.
“I am at the best of in short career and I feel great,” Olmo said in an interview with L’Esportiu.
“Maybe the ideal time to leave the Dinamo would have been last summer, but no offers came.”
