Exclusive: Chelsea leading the race to sign the next ‘Eden Hazard’ in coming weeks
Caught offside via the Evening Standard report that Chelsea are leading the race for Lion star Ryan Cherkey, who has been touted as the next Eden Hazard.
The report also claims that Lyon want an additional £40m for the young winger, a fee the Blues are yet to pay.
However, Chelsea are reportedly ahead of AC Milan in negotiations to land Czerki.
Meanwhile, Brighton midfielder Moises Cacedo has admitted he desperately wants to join Chelsea.
Chelsea are currently holding talks with Brighton over the midfielder’s signature, with Brighton holding a bid of £100million.
“It’s a big team, that’s true,” Caicedo told La Cancha Con Majo.
“A very historic team and I can’t say no because it is a very big, historic, beautiful team. The city as well is beautiful.”
He added: “It’s a very great emotion. What guy wouldn’t want them to be talking about him?
“I know how to handle it. I don’t get carried away by emotions. I’m enjoying time with my family for now. There is pressure, but I am calm.
“I am waiting for whatever God decides. He will know what is best for me.”
