Chelsea transfer target Jadon Sancho has revealed he hopes to reach the level of Brazilian legend Ronaldinho.
The 20 year old England international has impressed since joining Borussia Dortmund and is expected to leave the German club this summer for a fee believed to be around £100 million.
“I’ve always wanted to be a professional footballer, make people watch me and say ‘whoa’, like how I used to watch Ronaldinho and go ‘wow, I want to be like him one day’,” the 20-year-old told Goal.
“Hopefully, I could become that level one day and players will look up to me and say ‘wow’.”
Sancho scored 13 goals and provided 19 assists in 43 appearances for Borussia Dortmund last season. He doesn’t seem to be slowing down this season, having scored 17 goals and provided 19 assists in all competitions in just 35 games.
