Chelsea ‘Have made move’ to sign 26-Year-Old powerful defender to replace Thiago Silva

According to rumors, Chelsea is attempting to capture Tosin Adarabioyo, a highly sought-after player from Fulham, before the summer transfer window opens.

Following Thiago Silva’s declaration last week that he would be departing the team at the end of the season, there has been a lot of conjecture around potential replacements for the Brazilian star among the CHELSEA defense.

Over the past several weeks, a number of well-known players have been linked to a move to Stamford Bridge; however, it appears that the Chelsea board is considering a move for the impressive Adarabioyo, who is also coveted by Premier League rivals Newcastle.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the Blues have also been in contact over a deal for the defender: “Understand Chelsea as well as Newcastle are among clubs informed on conditions of the deal to sign Tosin Adarabioyo as a free agent,” Romano wrote on X.

It’s no secret that the Blues are looking to bring in a new centre-back this summer and could now ruin Newcastle’s transfer plans.

The 26-year-old centre-back is a key player for the Cottagers but they have been unable to convince him to extend his contract, which expires in June.
