Fabrizio Romano reacted after Chelsea failed to reach latest Antonio Rudiger’s contract demand
Recent report claims that Antonio Rudiger’s Chelsea contract will expire at the end of the season.
However, the Blues are yet to extend the contract of the German international.
Meanwhile, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, despite failing agree a new salary with Rudiger, Chelsea are still continuing talks with the centre-back.
“With Rudiger nothing has changed yet,” Romano said on the Here We Go Podcast.
“There are still talks with Chelsea but they haven’t agreed a new salary. So let’s see if they’ll be able to do it in the coming days or weeks.
“At the moment, they haven’t been able to do it.
“Chelsea are still talking to Rudiger – the talks haven’t collapsed.”
Rudiger will be able to speak with other clubs in January if he doesn’t sign a new Chelsea contract before then.
