Forward announces ‘it feels amazing’ to sign up with Chelsea after agreeing four-year contract
CHELSEA star Lauren James has signed a new contract until summer 2027, it has been announced.
James, sister of Chelsea men’s defender Reece, was a member of the Blues academy but signed her first professional contract with Manchester United at the age of 17.
However – he has become one of the best in her position over the past few seasons and Chelsea were desperate to make sure that she was signed up to a new contract as soon as possible.
And after agreeing the new deal – James has revealed that it is am amazing feeling to sign a new contract with the club – she said: “It’s an amazing feeling to extend my stay at the club I love and where I feel most at home.
“I’m looking forward to the future and I want to reach my full potential.
“I want to be the best version of me as a player and as a person, helping to inspire the next generation. It definitely feels like home and it’s always been the place I’ve wanted to be.”
