The blues are keen on signing Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha this January but according to Daily Express, the Blues are not willing to meet Crystal Palace’s £80million valuation.

With Crystal Palace also reluctant to lower their asking price for Zaha, Chelsea might be forced to consider other options.

Zaha has scored 56 goals and produced 68 assists in a total of 345 appearances with the Eagles.

Despite Chelsea’s interest in Zaha, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard recently claimed he hasn’t considered a move for Zaha.

The Chelsea boss said: “I wouldn’t talk about Zaha and the idea of that deal is something I have never even considered.

“As I say I won’t talk about Zaha because he is not a player of ours. If we have to do business we will do it in the way we see fit, to try and make us better.

That’s behind closed doors as opposed to just announcing who we might want to bring in.”
