Frank Lampard message to Abramovich after UCL win, as Blues told they can sign £129m man for just £68m

Frank Lampard has opened up after been sack by Roman Abramovich following Chelsea UCL victory.

However, his poor run form resulted in him losing his job in January, with German coach Thomas Tuchel coming in as his replacement and eventually guiding the Blues to Champions League glory in Porto last month.

Meanwhile, Lampard has admitted he is proud of the job he did at Chelsea.

“I’m in pretty good company at Chelsea, it happens, it’s the brutal reality of football at the top level”, he told the BBC.

“I’m pretty proud of the job I did, I came in at a tough time with the [transfer] ban and the loss of Eden Hazard.

“We worked really hard in year one to get in the Champions League and developing the younger players was a huge deal to me.

“I am happy, it was a huge experience for me. There were a lot of things I would have done differently, I was really happy in year one, in year two we had different expectations, there were complications, every team had problems this year, we had problems and I left my job.”

The former England man is still without a job since leaving his managerial post after previously being linked with Championship side Bournemouth and Scottish outfit Celtic.

However, in 2020/21, he made just 22 starts as Simeone led the club to its first Spanish title win in seven years, and His drop down the pecking order has reportedly resulted in him desiring a move away from the Wanda Metropolitano in the upcoming transfer window.

And According to of Mundo Deportivo, Saul is ‘determined’ to part ways with Atletico this summer, with Chelsea now ready to try and make a transfer move.

Saul has a £129million (€150m) release clause in his Atletico contract, but with the deal expiring in 2026, the club would accept an offer worth around £69m (€80m), the reports claims

Niguez is a very special player that would be a world class signing for Chelsea if they were to step up their chase in the transfer window to try and get some sort of transfer deal done.

Not many players want to leave Madrid, so Chelsea would have to offer something special to get a deal done, but he would be worth the money guys

But considering they are a side that can offer him top level football and more chances to win trophies, it would be a very good option for him to make a possible move to the Bridge
