Chelsea youngster Hudson-Odoi scored Chelsea’s first goal yesterday and was involved in the second goal as Chelsea beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 to progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup in Sunday afternoon.
“It was a good performance. Pleased to see him high up the pitch, it was a great goal. It has been an interesting 12 months for him.
However, He has come back, but when he did there were issues to get him tip top. This was a nice step forward for him,” Frank Lampard said, rating Callum’s involvement in Nottingham Forest win.
“When Callum comes back and when you are a player of speed and sharpness, when you have an injury like that it can be slightly held back.
He has done a lot of work. He is getting stronger. As a player there is a lot more to come.”
The 19-year-old winger scored one and created the other in a dazzling display of amazing skill we have all been waiting to see.
Frank Lampard and Morris had urged the fans to show some patience and it looks like Callum is slowly getting back to his best.
