Lots Chelsea fans want to see Jack Grealish at Stamford Bridge after ex-player Alan Hudson suggested that the Aston Villa attacking midfielder would be a good addition to Frank Lampard’s squad.

Speaking to CaughtOffside, Hudson said: “The bottom line is Chelsea haven’t got anyone since [Eden] Hazard left who has the fans on the edge of their seats. Jack Grealish would be that man.”

Undoubtedly, big shoes to fill. However, based on this season, Grealish would have plenty to offer to this Chelsea side. With seven league goals, only Tammy Abraham has scored more in the Blues’ squad. Meanwhile, no player at Stamford Bridge has matched the Villa captain’s five assists this term.

Averaging 2.6 key passes per game — again bettering the entire Chelsea squad (via WhoScored) — it is clear to see what Grealish has to offer. And although there have been no links this January, some fans are keen to see a move take place following Hudson’s endorsement of the talented player.
