Giroud sends massive message to Frank Lampard
Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has sent a message to Chelsea boss Frank Lampard after claiming he’s in good shape despite being 34.
The Frenchman has struggled for game time this season for the Blues. He has failed to start a game for the Blues in the Premier League and the Champions League this season.
When asked if he’s regressed physically at the age of 34, Giroud told France Football, “Not that much. I don’t find myself diminished, I’m in shape.
“When signs will appear, I’ll feel them. I’ll be aware when I realise I’ve lost speed, acceleration, jumping… But I hope to have another three, four, five years at the high level. It’s the aim.”
