The Blues have reportedly been handed great news on the transfer front as it’s been suggested that N’Golo Kante has no intention of leaving the Stamford Bridge in summer.
France international has seen injuries disrupt his season this year, but he has still managed to feature on 22 games and has chipped in with three goals.
When fit, N’Golo has been an almost permanent fixture in Frank Lampard’s line-up and given his energy, work ethic and technical quality, he stays a crucial piece in the Blues side moving forward while his experience could be huge for the ongoing development of the younger footballers in the squad too.
With that in mind, Chelsea have seemingly been handed a boost as Kante has no intention of leaving London club at the end of the campaign.
Should he stay, it will surely be seen as a big boost for Frank too as he’ll want to keep his best footballer at the team and try to add quality around them in the summer transfer window to improve.
It’s added that both Los Blancos and Bianconeri have been touted as possible destinations and have been linked with bids and given their ability to compete for major titles both domestically and in Europe year in and year out, they could have perhaps been tempting.
However, according to the report above, it would appear as though the 28-year-old midfielder will be a Blues footballer next campaign, and he’ll have a key role to play in helping the manager turn the club back into a legitimate contender moving forward.
