Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek ruptured his Achilles’ tendon in May during the post-season friendly against New England Revolution.
The 24-year-old hasn’t played a competitive game since May last year, as he got the injury just before the Europa League final.
Loftus-Cheek has been involved in some games with the youth and has only been named on the bench for the senior team.
He has now taken to Instagram to post the latest update on his injury recovery, including skipping in his back garden.
He added: “Skipping has been great for my Achilles since my injury. Regaining that bounce/stiffness. I’ll keep working on it.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea players have been in self-isolation since Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi contracted coronavirus and Blues boss Frank Lampard has ensured the players remain fit during the coronavirus crisis by delivering mobile gyms to the players.
