According to reports claimed in Spain, Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard is waiting for club official to sign off on a deal to sign Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho,
The Blues are said to be leading the race to sign the 27-year-old Brazilian forward who spending this season on loan at Bayern Munich.
The Brazilian is reportedly want to return to the Premier League, having failed to make an impact since his 2018 move from Liverpool.
He has spend the season on loan at Bayern Munich but the German club aren’t interested in making the deal permanent despite scored nine goals in 32 outings for Bundesliga Champions.
The reason they’re reluctant to make his stay permanent is the asking price Barca have slapped on his head. And Blues are leading the way to sign him next summer, amid reports that they are willing to fork out to bring him in on loan.
According to Spanish outlet SPORT, Frank Lampard is simply waiting on Stamford Bridge officials to sign off on the deal before they officially make their move.
