Green light: Chelsea offered to sign AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek but on one condition

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Krzysztof Piatek’s agents have offered Chelsea to sign the AC Milan striker in January.

However, the Blues, in their turn, are expected to bid for the Pole if Olivier Giroud leaves this transfer window. The Serie A side are reportedly demanding £25m for the 24-year-old and they won’t accept a loan offer.

With Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s arrival, Piatek, who’s lacking confidence at the moment, might be looking for a San Siro exit.

However, the striker is a known unknown. The Pole gloriously started his Milan career, scoring 8 goals in his first 11 Serie A games for the Rossoneri last term.

The 24-year-old has found the back of the net 5 times in the following 25 league matches.

This season, Piatek has made 19 appearances across all competitions so far, scoring 5 goals and registering one assist.

Krzysztof’s only world-class quality is believed to be his finishing. The centre-forward might be a deadly weapon if his team creates enough chances – something Chelsea are certainly good at.
