Hakimi’s agent finally reveals why Chelsea move didn’t go through
According to reports, Chelsea were very interested in signing Achraf Hakimi from Inter even though the fullback ended up signing for PSG in the end.
Now that the move his official, his agent, Alejandro Camano has revealed to Marca what actually happened and what Hakimi’s desires are.
“Chelsea also bid for Achraf. The fact that they are champions of Europe perhaps threw him back,” explained Camano.
“Real Madrid had the right of first refusal until PSG and Inter said that the deal was going to happen.
“We maintain the illusion and the dream that Achraf will return to Real Madrid because he was born in Madrid, he grew up in Madrid and, as a final goal, one day, he would like to play for Real Madrid.
The fact that he dreams of returning to Real Madrid and that he was taken aback by Chelsea’s recent success are both good signs of the fact that not landing Hakimi will probably be for the best for Chelsea.
