Hazard finally makes decision on when to leave Real Madrid following Chelsea interest
Eden Hazard has lost his place in the starting XI at Real Madrid and has been linked with a return to Chelsea.
However, The Belgian international left Chelsea in the summer of 2019 after a seven year stay at the club, but has struggled to repeat his form since joining Real Madrid.
Meanwhile, according to Metro, Hazard isn’t keen on leaving Real Madrid in January despite interest from Chelsea. The Belgian wants to reportedly remain with Real Madrid until the end of the season.
30 year old Hazard is determined to fight for his place under Carlo Ancelotti and will not be on the move in January.
The report claims Hazard is aware he’s failed to live up to expectations and is more determined than even to repay the faith shown in him by the club.
Real Madrid would also prefer to keep hold of Hazard until the end of the season and then negotiate a potential departure next summer if his performances fail to improve.
Hazard is reportedly valued at around £43million by Real Madrid and has a contract with the Spanish side until June 2024.
