‘He can’t play 90 minutes in every game’- Tuchel warned Chelsea player
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has warned Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante can’t play 90 minutes every game following his recent injury record.
Tuchel said: “N’Golo has come back from injury and he cannot play now 90 minutes in every game before we arrive at the international break.
“We have to manage him. We do this together with our physical coaches. We have to take care with him that he arrives fit until the international break – and when he comes back. That is normally the momentum where I hope that then we can rely on him.
“I’m very, very happy to have him, Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho in our defensive midfield. They are exactly the level we need to win games at the highest level.”
