Hoever, ahead of Sunday’s Carabao Cup final against Liverpool, Chelsea legend Joe Cole has revealed a player that should be in the starting XI against Liverpool.
According to Cole, Chelsea attacking midfielder Kai Havertz has got that knack of doing it in big games.
Joe Cole said to BT Sport: “Kai Havertz has got that knack of doing it in big games.
“Certain players have that spark or that bit of magic and Havertz has got it.
“That will come into the manager’s thinking when he’s thinking of cup finals and big games.”
Havertz’s last three goals for Chelsea across all competitions came in the EFL Cup semi-final, the Club World Cup final and the Champions League of Round 16 first-leg clash against Lille.
He also scored in the Champions League final as the Blues beat Manchester City 1-0.
