Some Chelsea fans have praised the consistency shown by defender Emerson Palmieri since the beginning of the season.
The Italy international has been preferred ahead of Marcos Alonso for the left-back duties this term and he has been one of the top players for the side despite the mixed run of results.
During Saturday’s 3-2 triumph over Norwich City, Emerson had a solid performance with the most number of touches, tackles and crosses while he was able to create the second-most number of chances through the game, as per Squawka.
This has certainly pleased a section of the club’s faithful and a few of them have taken to Twitter to appreciate the efforts of the defender, who has become an undisputed starter under the guidance of manager Frank Lampard.
