‘He is electric’: Lewis Hall reveals he would love to be as quick as 22-year-old Chelsea star

Chelsea youngster Lewis Hall admits he would love to be as quick as teammate Mykhailo Mudryk.

Speaking via The Official Chelsea App (10th August), Lewis Hall did share he’s envious of the pace Mykhailo Mudryk possesses.

When asked if he could take one part of a teammate’s game, the 18-year-old left-back said: “I’d love Thiago Silva’s intelligence. The way he reads everything is a joke to be honest. The other obvious one is Misha’s [Mudryk’s] pace, he is electric.”

If Mudryk can piece everything together in his game, we think Chelsea have one special player on their hands.

The 22-year-old winger had a difficult first six months as a Blues star after joining mid-season, but it’s hard to pick out any that performed well during the previous campaign.

Now, with Mauricio Pochettino in as Chelsea’s head coach, there’s a clean slate for the players.

However, Andriy Shevchenko recently told talkSPORT that Mudryk is starting to get there with his performances in pre-season.

We can’t wait to see if the rapid left-winger can turn it on against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.

Our thinking is that Mauricio Pochettino’s side are going to be a nightmare for teams on the counter-attack this season with the players in the squad, especially against sides who play high defensive lines.

The likes of Mudryk, Nicolas Jackson, Noni Madueke and Raheem Sterling are all speed demons that will love open grass to sprint into.

One of Mudryk’s most positive performances so far in his short career was against Liverpool, which is why we would love him to start this weekend to use that confidence and pre-season form.
