‘He pocket Mohamed Salah at Stamford Bridge, bring him back – Former Chelsea player tells club to re-sign former Blues player

Chelsea are losing some vital players this summer and will be looking forward to strengthen the squad.

As we all know, Tuchel Chelsea will be losing Antonio Rudiger, Andrea Christensen, Cesar Azpi the captain, the Blues has been told to bring back former Chelsea defender.

Well, Former Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori has grown into a top centre-back at AC Milan, and the 24-year-old helped the Milan club in winning the Serie A title for the first time in 11 years.

Chelsea’s decision to sell Tomori has looked questionable, and with the club now short of centre-backs ahead of next season, it has made the decision even more shocking.

Former Chelsea left-back Scott Minto still remembers a Premier League game where Tomori was brilliant against Mohamed Salah, and has urged the club to re-sign their former starlet.

However, when asked about the prospect of Tomori returning to Chelsea one day, Minto told Kick Off on talkSPORT: “I think he would be superb.

“I saw him at Derby and thought he was brilliant, he was Derby’s player of the year, and he lifted himself up whenever he played in a Chelsea shirt.

“I remember him almost man-marking Salah out of the game one time at the Bridge, he was superb, and he’s come on without a doubt.

“So give him another year, then bring him back. I’d say to him: ‘Look, have one more season, then do you fancy coming back to the Bridge?’”

With few English players going out to play abroad, Minto who also played for Benfica told Tomori to enjoy the experience.

He added: “If I was him I would enjoy the foreign experience for as long as possible, because it may never happen again, especially if you could go back to a club like Chelsea and stay there.

“You still need to get experience and Chelsea have got Thiago Silva there right now, but he’s probably got one year left in him. Trevoh Chalobah who’s done so well on top of that.

“So giving Tomori another year at AC Milan and then trying to get him back to Chelsea – I don’t see why not.”
