Thiago Silva, who has announced that he would be leaving Chelsea at the end of the season, has received praise from Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo.
Thiago Silva stated in his goodbye address that he hopes to return to Chelsea in a non-playing capacity in the future.
Moises Caicedo expressed his excitement over Thiago Silva taking over as Chelsea’s manager.
“He’s a legend,” the Ecuadorian midfielder told Sky Sports. “It’s amazing to share a lot of moments with him.
“I would’ve liked to play more years with him, because I can learn a lot from him, on and off the pitch. It’s his decision and we have to respect that.
“I hope he can return here as a manager or something like this, so we can learn more from him.”
