‘He would like to join Chelsea’… Chelsea agreeing contract with ‘world-class’ attacker

Chelsea should not find it too hard to agree a deal with one of their targets this summer.

It could be another busy transfer window for Chelsea, who look set to strengthen at the back and in attack.

Thiago Silva’s contract expires at the end of the season, so the Blues could make a move for a new central defender.

It has been claimed that Chelsea have already been offered Silva’s compatriot Gleison Bremer.

In terms of improving their attack, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen appears to be the club’s main target, and one journalist has shared a very promising update.

Victor Osimhen’s Chelsea stance
Italian journalist Rudy Galetti has claimed on X that “he would like to join” Chelsea this summer.

As a result, Chelsea agreeing personal terms with the 25-year-old will not be a problem, according to Galetti.

However, if the Blues do hit a brick wall with Osimhen, they do seem to have alternatives to the Nigerian.

Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko are two other centre-forwards who also appear the be on the club’s radar.

Gyokeres’ form has been sensational this season, with the Sweden international scoring 36 goals in all competitions.

How much money will Chelsea need to offer Victor Osimhen?
Osimhen may be happy to join Chelsea, but it looks like they will have to offer the Napoli star big money for him to actually sign a contract.

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea will have to rip up their wage structure and hand Osimhen a deal worth far in excess of £100,000 a week.

It could be worth it, though, with the Nigeria international being one of the top No.9s in Europe.

Described as a “world-class striker” by AS Monaco’s Folarin Balogun, Osimhen scored an impressive 31 goals in 39 games last season.

Ultimately, the former Lille man is the kind of forward that is worth breaking your wage structure for.
