Chelsea remain unwilling to sell 20 year old centre-back Levi Colwill and are keen to tie him to a new contract.

This is According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

However, Colwill impressed on loan at Brighton last season and for the England U21s this summer, helping the national side to victory in the European Championship final against Spain on Saturday.

After an impressive loan spell at Brighton last season, Brighton are keen to take Colwill back to the Amex on a permanent deal this summer but Chelsea have turned down their advances.

Romano said: “Chelsea position on Levi Colwill remains clear: not for sale, part of future project and new contract to be discussed again soon.”
