”He’s starting to reap the rewards.” Chelsea player hails after an impressive start of the season
According to BBC pundit Garth Crooks, believes Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher is reaping the rewards of getting valuable playing time.
The 21 year old is on a season-long loan deal at Crystal Palace and has had an impressive start to the season.
He was named man of the match in Crystal Palace’s goalless draw against Brentford and scored a brace as Crystal Palace drew 2-2 at West Ham.
The box-to-box central midfielder has already made himself a favourite with Palace supporters.
“I thought he did extremely well to squeeze his first goal past Lukasz Fabianski, but the second was a sensational finish. Gallagher looks very comfortable in the Crystal Palace set-up,” Crooks told BBC Sport.
“I saw him play for West Brom while on loan last season and struggle in a poor side. However, the Chelsea player, who is prepared to go out on loan wherever he can to get valuable playing time, is starting to reap the rewards.”
