’He’s too nice isn’t he? Alan Shearer blasts Chelsea player after poor performance in Luton Town win
The Blues defeated Luton 3-2 in the fourth round of the FA Cup, but it was a difficult victory indeed for the Blues.
However, Chelsea defender Malang Sarr had a game to forget, and made a mistake just inside two minutes to put the home side ahead. Sarr failed to get tight to Burke who lost his marker and headed home from a corner.
Former England international Alan Shearer, wasn’t impressed with Sarr’s defending, claiming he was too nice.
Shearer said: “Sarr’s marking Reece Burke, meant to be… he’s too nice isn’t he, there’s not enough aggression there,”
“He’s a yard off him, he touches him, not enough.
“It’s a very good ball in and run and the contact is superb the way he guides it in that far corner.”
