‘Honestly we can beat them, with this format’ – Paul Scholes laughs Chelsea and reveals why Man United can beat Chelsea after Burnley 1-1 draw
The Blues dropped points against Burnley after a 1-1 draw at Stamford bridge.
However, despite this draw we are topping the league ahead of international break.
Meanwhile, Man United were bossed by their rivals Man City on their home ground once more, leaving them a solid 9 points off Chelsea.
The United legend Paul Scholes, who had earlier suggested that Man United’s defence was better than Chelsea’s (they’ve conceded 13 more than us in 11 games), still thinks his old side have a chance.
Scholes said, as per Premier Legaue Productions; ”I don’t think [Manchester United] are massively short of Chelsea in all honestly, I think they can go on and beat teams like Chelsea.”
“The same is going to happen again, we might struggle against some teams but we could go on a run now and end up winning a few games.”
Chelsea face Man United in 21 days, and it’s likely that Scholes will be shown exactly how wide the gulf in class between the two is.
