‘Hopefully we’ll have players that want to help us’, Pulisic ready for January players

Christian Pulisic is ready for more competition for starting XI places if Chelsea decide to sign another forward, Goal reports.

The American, who is himself in his first season with the club, said:

“It is normal, teams look to improve their team and if players do come in there is competition, that is how it goes.

So we’ll be ready for that and hopefully we’ll have players that come in and want to help us.”

Chelsea can register new players for the first time since last January after they successfully appealed against the transfer ban imposed by FIFA.

According to the Telegraph, the Blues have £150m to spend on new players. Frank Lampard has implied that they will try to land a new forward which, of course, would pose a challenge for Pulisic.

In the most recent reports, 6 players are mentioned among the possible signings for Chelsea.
