The Premier League has been suspended until at least April 4 due to the Coronavirus crisis but there are concerns the April 4 date might not be feasible.
There are suggestions EURO 2020 might be pushed to 2021 to allow time for domestic competitions to finish their campaigns.
There’s the possibility domestic leagues in Europe could creep into July and with Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech set to join Chelsea on July 1st, there are concerns it could affect the transfer.
Will Ziyech be allowed to leave Ajax for Chelsea on July 1st if the Dutch league is still on by that time? It is highly unlikely as he would be expected to finish the season with Ajax.
It’s likely FIFA, UEFA and the major leagues could seek to make emergency changes to transfer window dates.
So there’ every possibility Ziyech might not arrive at Chelsea on July 1st as expected.
