Spanish club Atlético Madrid currently lead the race to sign Cavani but the news about Cavani’s request could push Chelsea to make a move especially after our toothless performance in attack against Newcastle United.
The fact that Cavani wants out and that is now public knowledge will definitely lower PSG’s asking price for the Uruguayan striker. PSG have already rejected a €10 million from Atletico Madrid for Cavani and Chelsea will need to act fast to avoid losing the striker to Atletico Madrid.
Chelsea are said to have made an opening formal enquiry for Cavani but no official bid has been submitted by the Blues.
