“I can’t believe they could do this to me” – Son heung blames two Chelsea man for his poor performance against Chelsea

Son Heung-min, the captain of Tottenham Hotspur, and five other players received a rating of 4 out of 10 for their efforts in the team’s 0-2 Premier League loss against Chelsea.
Son got 43 touches on the ball, 80% passing accuracy, three crucial passes, a successful dribble, and no shots on Thursday at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge.

Sportmail ranked Son as having more experience than Alfie Gilchrist, a 20-year-old right defender, but the South Korean sensation made little of an impact.

The British newspaper said, “No Tottenham player performed well, including their captain.”

On Chelsea’s side, Sportmail gave Marc Cucurella the highest score of 9. The Spanish full-back had a good performance, moving into midfield when the team got the ball and defending solidly when Tottenham attacked.

Spurs captain Son feels that Marc Cucurella and Alfie Gilchrist, a defenders for Chelsea, are a huge asset to the team’s offensive line and that having more defenders makes it harder for his colleagues to score goals.

Son Heung-min said following the game: “We really need to improve ourselves Chelsea defenders really played well especially Alfie Gilchrist and Marc Cucurella no room for us to pentrate to score goals more even difficult for me to do my thing.”

“Credits to them and wish them good luck in Europe qualiication race” he said.

If Chelsea wins all four games they still have, they will have a stronger chance of qualifying for Europe the following season, according to reports, with Spurs playing Liverpool this weekend.
