“I don’t trust those two” – Pochettino reveals why he doesn’t trust these two Chelsea stars

The new Chelsea owners may have spent over £1billion on transfer signings, but it’s hard to point exactly where the Chelsea team is strong.

In attack, we still need a top goalscorer, the midfield doesn’t look perfect, and the defence is in shambles.

Another key area is the goalkeeping department. Chelsea do not yet have a dependable number one in goal.

A report by GiveMeSport claims that Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has question marks over the signing of Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic.

The report claims that he doesn’t view Chelsea goalkeepers Petrovic and Sanchez as the long-term solution for the No 1 position at the club.

The report claims that Pochettino will want a new goalkeeper in the summer. If you add Kepa Arrizabalaga to the list of goalkeepers we have, it’s even more worrisome, as none has proven to be top quality.

Djordje Petrovic and Robert Sanchez, who both joined Chelsea in 2023, have been competing this campaign to be the first-choice goalkeeper, but none has proven to be what the club needs.

24-year-old Petrovic has played 22 matches during this debut season at Chelsea, and the Serbian shot-stopper has made four clean sheets.

26-year-old Robert Sanchez has five clean sheet in 21 Chelsea appearances.

Petrovic started out fine at first, but has now been caught making silly mistakes. This is a problem in Todd Boehly’s £1billion Chelsea squad.
