“I feel he has an agreement with them” – Barcelona president reacts to 24-year-old Chelsea target
According to Barcelona president Joan Laporta believes Ousmane Dembele won’t be a Barcelona player next season, with the Frenchman having just six months left on his contract.
However, The Blues are reportedly interested in signing Dembele and Laporta believes the winger has signed a pre-contract to leave Barcelona as a free agent at the end of the season.
French side Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in signing the winger too but face competition from Chelsea.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta said: “Ousmane Dembélé won’t be here next season, I feel he has an agreement with another club – so it’s gonna be difficult to see him playing again with Barça.
“Of course Xavi will decide wheather Dembélé will play again or not this season.”
Barcelona had pushed for the winger to leave the Spanish side during the January transfer window but he is set to stay with Barcelona until his contract expires at the end of the season.
