“I hail you my brother”: Enzo Fernandez loves what 22-year-old Chelsea player did after 3-1 win against Aston Villa

Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has hinted he was delighted with what he saw from one teammate in last night’s FA Cup triumph.

He took to Instagram to comment on the photo of fellow midfielder Moises Caicedo, sending a positive message after the Blues returned to winning ways.

Chelsea turned in arguably their performance of the season last night against Aston Villa to book their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Playing away from home off the back of conceding four goals in the last two games, there was a lot of pressure on the side, none more so than manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Two players who in particular put in fantastic performances were Fernandez and Caicedo. Former midfielder Roy Keane was particularly impressed by their displays, saying it was the best he had seen them play for the club.

The Argentine capped off the night with a sensational free-kick from distance, beating countryman Emi Martinez with a glorious strike.

His celebration that followed made a statement in itself, with the World Cup winner seeming to shutdown the rumours that had begun to crop up regarding his future.

One player he was keen to make sure got his flowers was his midfield partner. He took to social media to praise the performance of Caicedo, simply saying: “My brother.”

The duo have come in for plenty of criticism this season, with many believing they have not performed well enough in comparison to their price tags so far.

However, this could be the start of a turnaround for them in the middle of the park, with it crucial that they keep this up in the next outing.

They will surely both start again on Monday night when the Blues make the short trip across London to take on Crystal Palace.
