‘I owe that to the club’ – Rudiger finally opens fresh issues on his Chelsea future ahead of January transfer
Ahead of January transfer window, Antonio Rudiger insists he is only focused on Chelsea and ‘owes’ it to the club to keep performing as speculation continues to swirl around his future.
Antonio Rudiger told Welt Am Sonntag, as quoted by Sport Witness: “I’ve always said that Chelsea is my number one contact,”
“I’m currently only focused on Chelsea. We’ll see what happens.
“I will now concentrate on what is imminent. I owe that to the club, the coach and the team.”
Rudiger’s current contract with the Blues expires next summer and he has not signed an extension yet.
Meanwhile, earlier this week, it was reported that the defender has decided to walk away on free transfer in June as Chelsea’s latest proposal did not satisfy his demands.
