Finally Chelsea youngster Cesare Casadei has broken silence on his decision to leave Inter Milan for Chelsea last summer.
However, The Italian youth international is one of several promising players that have joined Chelsea since Todd Boehly and co bought Chelsea from Roman Abramovich last year.
Casadei spent the second half of last year on loan at Reading, and despite yet to make his first-team debut, he believes he made the right choice switching to west London.
Speaking to the Italian press, he said: “I have a five-year contract with Chelsea and embarked on a journey that is not short-term. The club is investing in young players and I am about to be part of its project.
“My ambition is to wear the Chelsea jersey and play in the Premier League, which is now the number one league in the world.”
