“I think he”ll pick Chelsea” “He’s going to become world-class player” – Micah Richards thinks 22-year-old Chelsea transfer target should sign for Chelsea

Micah Richards has now been full of praise for one player Chelsea have reportedly been very keen to sign.

He told ‘The Rest is Football’ that he is a huge fan of Michael Olise, who is currently playing his football for Crystal Palace.

Olise has enjoyed his best season to date in England so far, even with a number of injuries affecting his time on the pitch.

He has seemingly added goals to his game this year too, with him finding one against the Blues at Stamford Bridge.

This came just a few months after they reportedly triggered his release clause to try and sign him over the summer, before it fell through.

The saga ended with them being able to bring in Cole Palmer from Manchester City, with him being the player of the season so far.

Richards however believes the sky is the limit for Olise if he picks the right team to join after leaving Palace.

He said: “He is going to be world class. He is just one of them young players who needs to be guided in the right way.

“If he was ever to leave, or when he leaves Palace, if he picks the right team where he is allowed to express himself he is going to be a superstar. He is that good. He is going to the very top.”

It has been claimed that the Blues are considering making a move for the winger again when this season comes to an end, although this time they wont be the only ones intrigued by a deal.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in making him their first big signing of the new era they have entered, although the fee will be far more than the one being discussed last summer between Chelsea and Palace.
