“I was pissed off, he can’t perform against big teams” – Chelsea fan blasts Chelsea player for lack of contribution
Lots of Chelsea fans would be expecting a great season from new signing Romelu Lukaku after making his massive return to Stamford Bridge.
However, A Chelsea fan called Unique Shrestha has claimed Chelsea made a mistake buying Romelu Lukaku during the summer transfer window.
The Belgium international has scored four goals in nine appearances for the Blues but Shrestha claims Lukaku doesn’t perform in big games.
Sheestha tweeted: “We made a mistake buying Lukaku. He is a flat track bully. he can’t perform anything against big teams or in big games.
“I was pissed off when we bought him.. but it sickens me that we have to stick with him for the foreseeable future.
“English media targeted Tammy (Abraham) when he could not score against top 6 but no one is complaining that about Lukaku.
“Look at his performances this season against Spurs, Liverpool, Manchester City, Juventus. He is pretty average against big teams. He won’t deliver a good performance, let alone score in them.
“Even for Belgium the case is same. Watch games against France in WC 2018 and Italy in euros, how “brilliant” he played. He might score 15 PL goals if things go well but i see him score just 2 against top 6 if he is lucky.(ps: Arsenal is NOT considered as top 6).”
